Public funding

Completed in 2021, the ultramodern collection point for around 180 head of breeding stock, livestock or slaughter cattle in Spangenberg at Malsbergstr. 14 was funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, the State of Hesse as part of the Rural Development Plan and the Federal Republic of Germany as part of the Joint Task "Improvement of Agricultural Structure and Coastal Protection" (GAK).

Collection point in compliance with animal welfare regulations

The main building houses spacious stalls, a workshop, as well as the office with staff facilities and staff housing. The washing area for vehicles, the feed store and the manure store with slurry pit are housed in the roofed outbuilding.

The collection point was built in compliance with animal welfare regulations and meets animal welfare and occupational health and safety requirements.

Funded by the EU, co-financed by the State of Hesse and the Federal Republic of Germany.
