Vehicle fleet
Our animals are transported in our ultramodern fleet of vehicles, equipped in accordance with the latest EU Directives for animal-friendly transport and incorporating state-of-the-art technology. This includes ventilation systems, climate and temperature monitoring, watering systems, GPS monitoring, air suspension as well as long loading ramps to ensure animal-friendly loading and unloading.
Transport
Transporting live animals calls for special know-how, experience and careful handling of the animals. Our animals are transported by well-trained, qualified and experienced staff whose primary concern is for the welfare of the animals. It goes without saying that all our drivers hold the certificate of competence for animal transport.
Before each loading, we carry out preparatory tasks such as checking the identification of the animals, compiling the animal passports and sales documents as well as writing the standard declarations. This enables us to start transporting the animals straight after loading, avoiding unnecessary delays.
Cleaning and disinfection
Viehhandlung Thomas Pfanzelt places particular importance on the thorough cleaning and disinfection of the transporters after each journey. The stalls too are always thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after the animals have been transported.
